FSS NOFO Deadline Approaches

By: Eric Oberdorfer, Director of Policy & Legislative Affairs October 24, 2025 – On September 26, 2025, HUD officially opened applications for fiscal year 2025 funding under the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency Service Coordinator (ROSS-SC) program and the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program. Applications are due October 29, 2025, but HUD will accept late submissions if applicants have questions that need to be answered once the government reopens.

On October 10, 2025, the link to Notice PIH 2025-24, which outlines the FSS FY 2025 NOFO, became temporarily broken. Importantly, the notice remains in effect, and NAHRO has successfully recovered a copy of the document. Applicants should continue to submit applications as usual.

NAHRO will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as needed to ensure applicants have the information they need to move forward.
