HUD to Host Virtual Training on Mandatory ROSS Reporting Requirements

By: Steven Molinari, Policy Analyst

October 20, 2026 — On November 5, 2026, HUD will be hosting a live virtual training for grantees of the Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) program.

The training will take place between 2:00-3:30pm ET and will cover new mandatory 50058 reporting requirements that take effect January 1, 2027. The training does not apply to Tribes or Tribally Designated Housing Entities (TDHE’s).

The webinar will cover and include information about how to use the 2024 version of the HUD-50058 form for accurate reporting. For PHAs currently complying with HOTMA and using the 2020 version of the HUD-50058, this training will only apply once the 2024 version is used by your agency.
