Meet the 2026 NAHRO-LDG Scholars!
October 21, 2026 — The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) and award-winning multi-family housing developer LDG Development formally introduced this year’s NAHRO-LDG Scholar cohort at the Morning Plenary of NAHRO’s National Conference and Exhibition in Denver, Colorado on Friday, October 16.
“The determination and ambition of these students are truly inspiring,” said Lisa Dischinger, co-founder and chair of the LDG Foundation “At LDG, we know that strong communities are built through both quality affordable housing and opportunities for people to succeed. Supporting these students as they pursue their education and prepare for the future is an investment we are proud to make.”
The 2026 NAHRO-LDG Scholars are:
- Adriana Nunez Tang, Quinsigamond Community College
- Isabelle Mohr, Iowa State University
- Chyla Richardson, New Jersey Institute of Technology
“We’re grateful to LDG Development for their continued investment in our youth,” said NAHRO CEO Mark Thiele. “A home is so much more than four walls, a roof and a door. It is a safe haven and a launching pad for future success. Congratulations to this year’s scholars — we’re excited to see you learn and thrive.”
Eligible students must reside in HUD-assisted affordable housing administered by NAHRO member agencies. The NAHRO-LDG Scholars were chosen from the eight regional winners of the NAHRO National Merit College Scholarship.
The NAHRO LDG Scholar Report provides more information about both the program and some of the participating scholars over the past seven years.
