Join key HUD staff and staff from the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition for programmatic and regulatory updates related to the initiatives and priorities for programs in HUD’s Office of Community Planning and Development and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC). Presenters will discuss the Administration’s FY 2023 budget and FY 2024 budget proposal for CPD programs; homeless assistance grants and programs; ongoing implementation of various rules and regulations from CPD; the latest information regarding CPD formula programs, including new policy proposals and technical assistance opportunities, AFFH, BABA, as well as any new developments related to CPD’s work. Presenters will also discuss LIHTC, efforts to reform and strengthen the tax credit, and how the tax credit can be used to support HUD programs.
