Join a Day of Action for the Build Back Better Act!
NAHRO will join with the National Low-Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC), the Coalition on Human Needs, and other advocates across the nation for a Day of Action. On Friday, Dec. 17, urge your Senators to support the $150+ billion for housing and community development programs in the Build Back Better Act. The House already passed this historic bill last month, sending it to the Senate for further consideration.
There are at least three ways you can participate in the Day of Action:
- Call your Senators and report your calls to NAHRO
- Send an advocacy letter from NAHRO’s Action Alert Center
- Ask other NAHRO members and housing professionals to advocate and participate
Your advocacy has been incredible this year, but we must keep fighting until the bill is passed. Billions in funding is at stake for public housing, housing vouchers, LIHTC, community development programs, and other critical investments. Let your Senators know that your state needs the once in a generation housing funds included in the Build Back Better Act.
