Our 2025 faculty recruitment cycle has closed, and we are not currently accepting new applications. We will begin recruiting again in 2026. NAHRO’s Professional Development and Certification team seeks experienced, dedicated affordable housing and community development professionals with a deep knowledge of HUD programs and excellent training skills to add to our pool of faculty members! All NAHRO faculty are experienced practitioners, because we strongly believe in the educational value of learning from actual industry practitioners with both skills and hands-on experience.
Minimum Criteria:
- History of NAHRO membership or involvement
- 3-5 years of experience working in the affordable housing and community development field
Preferred but not required:
- NAHRO Certified
Functions/Responsibilities
- Completes onboarding steps and participates in professional development to further improve training delivery skills
- Understands NAHRO training and certification programs, contributing new ideas and marketing NAHRO PD and Certification programs
- Performs as part of NAHRO’s faculty by participating in at least four faculty calls per year (unless excused absence for NAHRO training)
- Adheres to expectations outlined in trainer consultant manual
