Description

Join us for this informal session to learn from your peers and share your commissioner experience with others. NAHRO Faculty, Renee Smith, will present various situations that a commissioner may face and together participants will work with their peers to brainstorm how to handle the situation. During this session you’ll have the opportunity to share your real-life situations cases and receive feedback and ideas from your peers, helping you to improve your board management and oversight.

Objectives

After completing this meeting, participants will be able to:

• Create a peer support network 
• Improve your board management and problem-solving skills 
• Increase your knowledge of potential situations that a housing board will face   
• Ensure your board management aligns with HUD regulations and local policy
