All conference events will take place at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel.

Discounted room rates are available at the Marriott and overflow hotel Manchester Grand Hyatt for registered NAHRO conference attendees as a benefit of registration.

HOTEL RESERVATION POLICY FOR NAHRO CONFERENCES
Register first…then reserve your room! Conference registration is required prior to making a reservation in the NAHRO room block. Once your registration is confirmed, your registration confirmation will contain a hyperlink through which to reserve your hotel accommodations on-line in the NAHRO room block.  A credit card is required to make a reservation. Phone reservations will not be accepted.  **Any reservation in the NAHRO room block without a corresponding conference registration will be canceled without notice.** 

Requests for reservations at the NAHRO group rate will be accepted for registered conference attendees on a space available basis through August 29 or until the NAHRO room block is sold out.  Rooms within the NAHRO room block are limited and first-come, first-serve. 

REQUIRED RESERVATION DEPOSIT
A credit card is required to make a reservation. All rooms require a first night’s deposit plus tax that will be charged to the credit card prior to your arrival date and credited against the room balance.  Checks will not be accepted for deposits.  Room deposits are non-refundable for cancellations occurring after August 29.

RESERVATION CONFIRMATIONS
You will receive an automated confirmation of your hotel reservation upon completion of your reservation. Please do not call the hotel “just to be sure” until a few days after August 29 as the reservation will not show in their system immediately.

RESERVATION CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS
Name changes, arrival/departure changes and/or cancellations should be submitted via the online reservation system on or before August 29.   After August 29, please contact the hotel directly.  Deposits will be refundable for cancellations received on or before August 29.

PAYMENT OF ROOM CHARGES ON-SITE
Once on-site, guest room balances can be paid by check or credit card. If by check, checks need to be sent to the hotel (Attn Accounting Dept.) and received 7 days prior to arrival. Confirmation number, attendee name and conference name should be provided with check.

INCIDENTAL HOLD/DEPOSIT
Please note the hotels require incidental hold/deposit at the time of check-in (payable by cash or credit/debit card, not check.)

Please note that NAHRO has not contracted with any third party to handle conference hotel reservations. If you are contacted by a third party offering help with hotel accommodations, this is fraudulent. Do not engage or provide any personal information.
